D for Dad

D for Dad

He is my true knight and shining armor. Do you know who he is? Well, you might think that he’s my boyfriend but no, he’s my dad. His existence is one of God’s greatest gift for me. Without him, I wouldn’t be able to type this paragraph right now. He’s my savior and my hero during those days when I have a lot of problems. He’s always there for me. He’s important to me merely because I love him. Why do I love him? Because he’s my father and he’s my first love. I’m lucky to have him and I’m sure about that. My mom got pregnant when they were still young but he never left us. He accepted me and even married my mom for his last name to be my last name. From that moment and on, I knew that I was one of the luckiest girl. I am very thankful because of him and also because of my mom. They are my prized possessions and my first loves. I will always love him the way he loves me. I thank God for giving me a dad who’s brave enough to accept his unexpected daughter at an early age. Thank you, Dad for your patience and love. I love you so much that words and actions couldn’t even express how much love I have for you!

C for Clare

C for Clare

I have been studying in St. Bridget School for 7 or 8 years already. When I was a grade 6 student, I told myself that 6-Madasalin was the best section for me. But, I was wrong. I am now a high school student. When I enrolled earlier this year (2011), I found out that my section will be Clare. I was a little upset because some of my close friends are in the other sections. But, of course, I couldn’t change the fact that some of my friends and I are not in the same section. I accepted that fact. First day of school! I was a bit nervous because I couldn’t believe that I’m already a high school student. After 7 months of being together with my co-swaggers, I proved to myself that Clare is the best section after all. All the challenges and problems we’ve been through. The hard work we all gave for our tasks. Nothing can beat the happiness and joy this section gave me. Oh, correction! Gave should be gives because the school year is not yet finished. I remember the time we had our Speech Choir Practices, we didn’t expect that almost all of the high school students applauded because of our performance. We work as a team, fight as a team, and dream as a team. I love you, Clare! And I always will. Forever and ever!
