D for Dad

D for Dad

He is my true knight and shining armor. Do you know who he is? Well, you might think that he’s my boyfriend but no, he’s my dad. His existence is one of God’s greatest gift for me. Without him, I wouldn’t be able to type this paragraph right now. He’s my savior and my hero during those days when I have a lot of problems. He’s always there for me. He’s important to me merely because I love him. Why do I love him? Because he’s my father and he’s my first love. I’m lucky to have him and I’m sure about that. My mom got pregnant when they were still young but he never left us. He accepted me and even married my mom for his last name to be my last name. From that moment and on, I knew that I was one of the luckiest girl. I am very thankful because of him and also because of my mom. They are my prized possessions and my first loves. I will always love him the way he loves me. I thank God for giving me a dad who’s brave enough to accept his unexpected daughter at an early age. Thank you, Dad for your patience and love. I love you so much that words and actions couldn’t even express how much love I have for you!

C for Clare

C for Clare

I have been studying in St. Bridget School for 7 or 8 years already. When I was a grade 6 student, I told myself that 6-Madasalin was the best section for me. But, I was wrong. I am now a high school student. When I enrolled earlier this year (2011), I found out that my section will be Clare. I was a little upset because some of my close friends are in the other sections. But, of course, I couldn’t change the fact that some of my friends and I are not in the same section. I accepted that fact. First day of school! I was a bit nervous because I couldn’t believe that I’m already a high school student. After 7 months of being together with my co-swaggers, I proved to myself that Clare is the best section after all. All the challenges and problems we’ve been through. The hard work we all gave for our tasks. Nothing can beat the happiness and joy this section gave me. Oh, correction! Gave should be gives because the school year is not yet finished. I remember the time we had our Speech Choir Practices, we didn’t expect that almost all of the high school students applauded because of our performance. We work as a team, fight as a team, and dream as a team. I love you, Clare! And I always will. Forever and ever!

B for BlackBerry Torch

B for Blackberry Torch

My Blackberry Torch is like my best friend. It keeps me entertained all the time. I usually subscribe to BB Social so I can tweet. I also have facebook and Y!M. It’s really nice cause it has BlackBerry Messenger. BlackBerry Messenger is like Y!M but its only for BlackBerry users. Almost the whole family owns a BlackBerry Smartphone. My aunt who lives in England also owns a BlackBerry Smartphone, and because of that we chat for free! Nice, right? I was the first one to ask for a BB and when they found out that there’s BBM, they bought their own Smartphones. It’s really fun to have a BlackBerry Smartphone because of its social features. My mom owns an iPhone and a BlackBerry. When she subscribed to BB Social, she used her BB more often than her iPhone. Even my grandmother owns a BlackBerry! Haha! She has a twitter account and we tweet each other most of the time. My grandfather is planning to buy one too. Yes, I know, techy family, right? My BlackBerry Smartphone is important to me because without it, I won’t be updated about the events worldwide. Yay for my BlackBerry Smartphone!

A is for ANN

A for Ann

Ann is the name of my best friend. Her full name is Jazel Ann B. (Ballesteros) Azote. Yes, yes. I know her full name. We are BEST friends, remember? I’m writing this using those words to make my blog post fun to read. I met this girl, I mean Ann when I was about 5-6 years old. It was my first (and LAST) ballet recital. Her aunt was my make-up artist for the day, her dad is our driver, and her mom was one of our “ate-s” (I don’t like to use maid cause it’s like I belittle them.) It was like love-at-first-sight when I saw her, but of course it’s friends-at-first-sight. After my recital, we ate at KFC, Katipunan. At that time, we had a chance to talk about studies, crushes, and everything about ourselves. I knew at that time that she would be a true friend to me. Up until now we are still the same. Imagine, 8 years of true friendship. She’s important to me because she always listens to me and comforts me when I’m sad or if I have problems. She is a true friend for me because she never forgets to ask me if I’m okay or if I have problems. She is very important to me and I know I’m lucky to have her.
